Charter Standard

Charter Standard is a Football Association initiative to improve the quality of football provision and also the safety of boys and girls at junior football clubs. The Charter Standard initiative also looks to improve standards and reward quality in football.

To achieve FA Charter Standard status the club had to demonstrate the following: -

Reassuringly, the Club has to have a designated Child Protection Officer and all Club Volunteers are required to complete a Disclosure form which is subject to clearance by the Criminal Records Bureau database (CRB).

Furthermore, the Club has a Club Coach and all managers and coaches must have a coaching qualification, the minimum being the FA Level 1.

All these measures provide confidence to players and parents alike that the Club is one which takes its responsibilities seriously and provides a high level of commitment, quality and care to all its members.
